Singapore-based ship operator Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has completed its 700th ship-to-ship LNG bunkering operation since the company began using the fuel in 2020, according to Ship & Bunker.
The milestone stem was taken by EPS’ vehicle carrier Lake Victoria, which bunkered LNG at the port of Emden, Germany, the company said in a LinkedIn post cited by Ship & Bunker.
A Growing LNG Track Record
EPS conducted its first LNG bunkering operation in November 2020, and the company has since taken on a cumulative total of 2.92 million cubic metres of LNG bunkers, Ship & Bunker reports. The firm reached its 600th LNG bunkering operation in April 2026, meaning it has completed 100 further operations in the months since.
Commenting on the achievement, EPS said, “Reaching 700 LNG bunkering operations reflects not only the scale of our investment in alternative-fuel capabilities, but also the experience, coordination and commitment of our teams at sea and ashore,” as quoted by Ship & Bunker.
