LNG bunker supplier Titan Clean Fuels has carried out an LNG bunkering operation for an MSC container ship at the Port of Rotterdam, according to Ship & Bunker.
The MSC Viola received LNG via a ship-to-ship transfer using the bunker vessel United LNG I, Titan said in a LinkedIn post cited by Ship & Bunker. The operation took place on Friday.
Chartered Vessel Supports ARA and Zeebrugge Operations
Titer chartered the United LNG I, which has a capacity of 8,000 cubic meters, back in May to bolster its bunkering activities across the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region and Zeebrugge, Ship & Bunker reports. The vessel is owned by Somtralux and operated by United Bunkers.
According to Ship & Bunker, Titan described the addition as complementary to its existing fleet of LNG bunker vessels. The company stated that “large containership LNG bunkering operations are a mainstay for the Titan team,” as quoted by Ship & Bunker.
