Marine lubricant supplier Gulf Marine has broadened its bonded supply network in China’s Fujian province, establishing new service points across three additional port cities — a move the company says is aimed at strengthening delivery responsiveness along the country’s southeast coast.
New Terminals Across Three Cities
According to Ship & Bunker, Gulf Marine has added supply locations at terminals in Putian, Ningde, and Fuqing. The expansion covers 14 additional operational terminals, as well as four chemical product terminals and two container and bulk cargo facilities in the region, as the company noted in a LinkedIn post.
The stated goal of the expansion is to build greater supply resilience and provide faster, more reliable lubricant deliveries to vessels transiting or operating along China’s southeastern coastline.
Part of a Broader Growth Push
Ship & Bunker also reports that Gulf Marine has been actively investing in its supply infrastructure on a wider scale. Earlier this year, the company introduced its first-owned lubricant supply barge — the Reliable I — into service in Singapore. The vessel carries a cargo capacity of 1,058 kilolitres and is equipped with an IMO Tier III-compliant Mitsubishi high-speed engine.
Together, these developments reflect a pattern of targeted capacity growth by Gulf Marine across key Asian maritime hubs.
