BTB Adds DMA 0.89 Gasoil Grade to ARA Bunker Line-Up

Marine fuel supplier Belgian Trading & Bunkering BV (BTB) is broadening its product line-up in the ARA bunkering hub with the addition of a DMA gasoil grade capped at a maximum density of 0.89, to be delivered by truck directly to seagoing vessels. The development was reported by Ship & Bunker on Monday, March 30, 2026.

A New Grade for a Dynamic Market

According to Ship & Bunker, BTB made the announcement via a LinkedIn post, describing the new offering as a move that bolsters its supply capabilities and underlines the company’s focus on delivering flexible, dependable service to its clients.

The Antwerp-based supplier has been operating since 1996 and has established itself as a provider of MGO to vessels calling at Antwerp and across the wider ARA hub. The newly introduced grade will be made available through truck deliveries to seagoing vessels in the region.

BTB in Their Own Words

Ship & Bunker reports that BTB stated: “This addition strengthens our range and reflects our commitment to reliable supply and responsive service in a dynamic market.” The company further noted: “As always, we remain focused on quality, flexibility, and supporting our clients where it matters most.”

The availability of the 0.89 maximum density DMA grade gives vessel operators calling at the ARA region an additional procurement option from an established local supplier.
